Wow! We just came off of a great weekend for events in Coshocton County. We hosted the amazing Hot Air Balloon Festival and followed it up with the Corvette Cruise-In in Roscoe Village. That is a lot of “cool” for just one weekend. The balloons filled the Coshocton County sky and some of the best-looking Corvettes lined Roscoe Village. So you might be thinking, “Well I guess that’s it for summer activities in Coshocton County.”
You would be wrong. We have a lot of cool events still coming up this summer!
Here are some amazing summer events (still to come) in Coshocton County.
June 24th: The Summer Concert Series
This event was brand new last year…and the response was off the charts! Our Town Coshocton has lined up new acts again this year to fill the Courtsquare with amazing music and community. This first event kicks off with “Bad Animals,” the ultimate Heart Tribute Band. The DORA will be in full effect, so you will be able to get some cool drinks on a fun night in downtown Coshocton.
July 3: The Red, White, and Booze Pub Crawl
With the DORA, these events have become a super fun way to explore downtown Coshocton and Roscoe Village…with a drink in your hand. Make sure you mark your calendar for this event (and make sure you have a room so you can spend the night).
July 15th: The Summer Concert Series (and Car Show)
The Summer Concert series will be back in the evening, but first…there is a great car show to start the day! Make plans to spend the whole day in downtown Coshocton.
July 21-23: Rock Coshocton
And speaking of epic concerts, the ROCK Coshocton event is happening over a whole weekend. Live music from multiple great bands and much more. This will be a must-see event this summer! Learn more about the schedule here.
August 4th: The Summer Concert Series (and First Farm Friday)
First Farm Friday is a great addition to the Summer Concert Series. Bring the whole family down to check out the farm equipment, farm animals, and more. Then make sure to bring your chairs so you can settle in and listen to some great music on Main Street.
August 5: Sippin on Sunshine
Sip on a little of your favorite wine & beer this summer amidst Ohio’s most unique sunflower field. Guests who will be sippin’ sunshine with us will get to sample Ohio wines & beer while getting one of the first peeks of the field for the 2023 Coshocton Sunflower Festival. This is a great way to get you ready for the full event…which leads nicely to…
August 11-13: The Coshocton Sunflower Festival
This is the main festival weekend – the peak bloom window that we’ve all been waiting for! The wagon ride takes you to the field where you’ll experience over 50 varieties of sunflowers, live music, food trucks, a wine & beer garden, & craft vendors. Note: Flowers of most varieties are in peak bloom in this time period (growing conditions permitting). No extra fee for campers. Admission is included when you camp with us!
