Who is ready to kick off the holiday season?  We know that Halloween is barely over.  We get that!  But now is the perfect time to plan for some events created to put you in the holiday spirit.  So here are a few great events in Coshocton County this holiday season.  Get ready to mark your calendars.

Miracle On Main Street

The Miracle on Main Street in Coshocton County has been a great way to kick off the holiday season for many years.  This event is the official kick-off to the holiday shopping season…and it gets better each and every year.  The event begins with a parade featuring local businesses, leaders, and non-profits.  Kids’ and adults’ eyes light up as they get the opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere and see Santa Claus!  This year, Our Town Coshocton will be hosting the community tree on the Courtsquare and will hold the official tree lighting that night.

And finally, the new light display at the Coshocton Courthouse will debut right after the Tree Lighting.  It will be a busy night for Santa’s elves as we begin the holidays in style.  Join the fun on Friday, November 17th on Main Street in Coshocton.

The Turkey Trot

If you are coming back to Coshocton County for Thanksgiving, then check out the annual Turkey Trot.  This is the perfect way to kick off Turkey Day.  Not only do you get to see friends and family from all over, but you get to take part in a well-run 5K and remove any guilt from eating mashed potatoes and stuffing later in the day!
