We have all been there. You get so focused on making improvements or changes, that you forget to share it!  Well, that ends today!  Here are some exciting updates from the Roscoe Boutique Motel.  We are thrilled to show you what we have been working on!

Let’s Start With The Rooms

We are incredibly proud of the transformation of the rooms.  While the old rooms were safe and clean, they were in need of an update.  Amy and her team worked hard to make that happen.  13 of the 18 rooms have been updated with new flooring, painting, decorations, toilets, lighting…and more!  The new rooms have a new look and feel that people seem to really love.

We mentioned that 13 of the 18 rooms had been completed.  Work is beginning now on the final 5.  The great news is, we have been too busy to finalize those last 5 rooms…and now we are making it happen.  When we are complete, we will have 3 “suites” with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa, a single room with one bed and kitchenette, and 14 standard double queen rooms.

Upgrading the Exterior

We are also really excited about the transformation on the outside of the facility.  We have replaced the siding and we are happy with the rustic look it gives the place.  In addition, we have focused on the plants around the outside to make the place more welcoming.  Finally, we have added a new sign to help “mark the spot” when visitors arrive.

The New “Lobby”

The Roscoe Boutique Motel now requires advanced reservations.  That means we have upgraded the check-in process.  We have changed all of the locks on the rooms, so you don’t need a key. You are given a code (in advance) so you can just go directly to your room, punch in the code, and you are in!  That means you don’t need a lobby in order to check in and get a key!  So we have created a new lobby that serves as a community space for our guests.

This new space has a table for gatherings and a new and brighter (and safer) space for ice and vending.

Upgrading the Website

We really want all visitors to Coshocton County to have a great experience.  So we have upgraded our Places To Stay page in order to provide more options. While we would LOVE for you to stay at one of our properties, we know that sometimes visitors need things we don’t have.  So we have added properties to the site that we recommend.

We have also worked to make it easier to find us.  You can now find us on Booking.com and other travel sites.  We have updated our listing on TripAdvisor too!

Thanks For the Recognition

And let’s face it!  It feels good to be recognized for your hard work.  So a big “thank you” goes out to the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce for the recent Community Improvement Award.  We sincerely appreciate it!  Our goal is to continue to “renovate and elevate” the property in order to make the guest experience even better!
