We love to celebrate the good things happening in Coshocton County. And luckily, we have had a lot to celebrate recently! We have seen lots of forward momentum and collaboration happening in the community. And today, we want to share some reasons to come and spend the night in Coshocton County. While we have shared a great long weekend agenda, these are some events and other reasons to stay overnight.
Three Rivers Wine Trail
The Three Rivers Wine Trail in Coshocton County is a great reason to spend the weekend. With a diverse group of wineries, (including Ravens Glenn, Yolo, Killing Tree, Yellow Butterfly, and more) you will be able to find a location and a wine selection for everyone. And with Rainbow Hills and Wooly Pig Farm Brewery, we have some great options for the beer lover as well. The only problem? There is a lot to cover in just one day! So book a weekend so you and your friends have a chance to take it all in!
Hot Air Balloon Festival
For over 40 years, hot air balloons have been floating over the hills and valleys of Coshocton County. Food vendors, kiddie rides, craft booths, musical entertainment, children’s activities, fireworks, night glow, and hot air balloon launches (weather permitting) are all part of this FREE event thanks to our many generous sponsors and friends. The festival is organized by an all-volunteer committee. The event is June 6-8 this year. Mark your calendar and book your room now. Learn more about the festival here!
Summer Concert Series
The Our Town Coshocton Summer Concert Series kicks off on June 22nd. This newly formed tradition has been a huge hit for the community and is a great reason to visit. You can enjoy amazing music, great food vendors, and our DORA (where you can grab a drink) and take in the event. Learn more about the series here…and mark your calendar.
Motorcycle Trails
Whether you like to ride windows down or no windows at all, Coshocton — a quaint county nestled between the Appalachian foothills, with countryside views and hidden historical charm — is a rider’s dream. On the Three Rivers Ride, motorcyclists and motorists alike can travel on 105 miles of gravel-free road all throughout Coshocton County and take stops at delicious eateries, preserved bits of history, picturesque gardens, and much more. If you want to make a weekend of it, please feel free to book a room now!
These are just a few reasons to spend the night in Coshocton County. And because of the amazing momentum in the community, rooms are filling up! So if you have an event coming in later in the year, now might be a good time to reserve a room. You can find some of our places to stay here!
